16-Mar-08: After my initial treatments with Katy - who is always very professional but also friendly and cheerful - I have been back for more! My hairy legs have always been a problem as they have, in the past, reacted to professional waxing, sugaring and my own attempts at creams and shaving. After having a full leg wax with Katy, I had absolutely no skin irritation - itching, ingrowing hairs etc - and have already booked another session before I go on my summer holiday. AND Katy tidied up my eyebrows which I've never had done before and am thrilled with the result. As for the Oxyjet Energising Facial and De Luxe Energising Facial (Paid for by my sister who could not believe how "up" I was after Katie's first two treatments), I'm due to have another soon. My only worry is that when more people find out about Katy, it will be difficult to get an appointment at short notice! To cover that, I've made more appointments to fit in with special events coming up. My doctor has been very impressed with the change in me from being depressed and stressed-out to a more positive person and I've given her some of Katy's leaflets. As someone in their 60s, I wish I had had a "Katy" around when I was much younger. It's never too early to start! Thank you Katy.
1-Feb-08: I have had many treatments at Beauty Salons in the past but am thrilled that I found the Garden Room on Yell.com. I have just had the most wonderful experience with Katy, Dry Skin Brushing and Body Exfoliating Treatment and Swedish Massage. I feel fantastic after months of extreme stress and I now feel ready to get on with my life - and have made two more appointments already. Thank you Katy.

A BIKINI WAX VIRGIN !
I had not gone to Katy with the intention of having a bikini wax, but was instead booked in for a much needed half leg wax. I have always wondered about having my bikini area done, but never managed to summon up the courage to make enquiries, book or go through with it. As I was about to go on holiday and likely to wear a bikini, there seemed no time like the present. When I gingerly asked Katy "do you do bikini waxes?" the reply was " of course, would you like me to do it now?" I can honestly say that it was remarkable painless and far less of an ordeal than I had imagined. Katy is so reassuring and gentle, that there simply was nothing to worry about. I am very pleased with the results, and am intending to keep up the waxing routine even after my holiday. Mrs G
HOPI EAR CANDLES:
My 11 year old daughter had a hopi ear candle treatment with Katy to help relieve a build up of ear wax. Katy was very professional and reassuring, putting my daughter at ease and explaining the process to her. By the end of the session, my daughter felt wonderful - fully relaxed from the facial massge and keen for another treatment. Over the next few days she reported an improvement in her hearing. DRY SKIN BRUSHING AND MASSAGE: I was given a voucher to use at the garden room for my 40th birthday from a friend.Wow what a fantastic treatment!. I chose to have dry skin brushing and a 1hr swedish massage. I telephoned Katy to say thank-you and to say that I had had a totally relaxing time and also had the best nights sleep i'd had in a long time.My skin felt lovely for quite a long time afterwards too!!! (I have since made another appointment )
The phone message said; 'katy thank you so much for the fantastic treatment, I felt lovely all day! I had a fantastic nights sleep and didn't wake up untill really late the next morning!' This was ok as the client had been exhausted, in desperate need of a really good nights sleep and had hoped to manage a Saturday morning lie in. All this and beautiful skin too!
I have been visiting the Garden Room for about a year and have never looked back since. The whole experience is wonderful; I feel totally re-energised after my treatment(s) and my feel good factor reaches a ten!
The peaceful atmosphere at the Garden Room with the soft music and wonderful aromas provides a totally tranquil retreat that all women should treat themselves to as often as they can – it’s money well spent as we all need some chill out time just for us away from work, the house, the children, the men and day-to-day life!
I can thoroughly recommend all the treatments I have experienced infact I have sent several of my friends to see Katy, a number have recieved her hand made personalised gift vouchers for their birthdays!
The Deep Relaxing 1hr Facial is a must – and this coming from a person who would never have a facial as I wasn't comfortable with the idea of a facial massage, yet now I go once a month!! I actually fall asleep during this one…it’s heavenly!
The Eyelash Perm & Tint – this is great if, like me, you are fair haired with very light colour lashes. Katy suggested I went for blue/black tint whereas I would normally go for brown. Katy was right of course as the end result was WOW! The navy blue worked brilliantly, really defining my eyes and bringing out their blue colour. It also lasted for ages. The perm was equally good it opened up my area and even made me look younger! It lasted for about 6-8 weeks. Great for holidays.
The Eyebrow Tint & Shape – again as above but brown!! At last I have eyebrows!
The OxyJet Deluxe Energising Facial – this is quite an amazing experience; hugely beneficial if you’re skin is dehydrated, so it’s especially good this time of year! My skin felt completely re-hydrated and young again. It glowed for days afterwards as well. I just wish this one had been around years ago as I would have started earlier!!
I now use the cleanser and toner and moisturisers to help sustain all of Katy’s hard work!
